vertical style. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
HAMB member Starliner's Grandpa had a very cool hot rod party today out at his place in the country. Great setting, perfect place for practicing shooting vertical format, something I don't do very often. Wasn't really planning on sharing the photos till I realized that there were quite a few cars there that were a bit "traditional" in style, not all, but some. So without further ado.......

Starliner's cool ride
http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/image_uploads/564005-3.jpg
About 5-6 years ago, Bill, Starliner's grandpa, had just dropped off Starliner at home. He was riding shot-gun in this '40. A few minutes later someone ran a red lite and smashed into the passenger side and rear of this gem. Bill survived but if Starliner had still been in the car most likely he wouldn't have. Most folks that saw it said the '40 was totaled. You'd never know it today. The car is awesome.

I couldn't get a front shot of this baby, too close to the walls so a rear shot will have to do.

This Caddy was my Dad's favorite there. He was so impressed with the interior that Monday Dad's taking his '56 over to the guys place to see about him doing Dad's Olds.

On the way home from the party we stopped at the tattoo shop to see some friends and this vintage working garage is next door so we decided to snap a few shots.
