Hi,
Please forgive my manners. I joined the H.A.M.B. last week so I could comment on a thread from the 2008 Jalopy Drags (which was a blast!) and didn't have time to introduce myself then. I own a 1968 Olds Cutlass that I've had since I was a teen and never parted with it. ( I hope it's not too new for the H.A.M.B. ) That was 27 years ago. I used to get asked if it was my car, did daddy buy it for me (not) or if I even know how to drive it, etc. I always said "bring it on". Sure shut 'em up when I gave 'em a run for their money by beating or almost beating 'em. :D My Dad raised me, and him and some of my older brothers (and their friends) were into cars and racing. I learned alot in that backyard and ole garage. I also just paid attention. (but I don't claim to know it all) I guess they didn't know they were molding a Tomboy back then. I've also been called a car chick if that tells you anything about me. Maybe I can learn some more on the H.AM.B.
Bye for now.......Kim
