Sean: I know Sanderson up in SF makes headers for the 472/500 you also might try Maximum Torque Specialties for headers or flanges (get Hillbilly to do some damn work and weld some up for you !). I thought you guys had the motor installed already. You going to the Turlock swap this weekend?

Sean,
Love the itunes but you really messed it up going cross platform like that. I know its the best thing that happened to the PC since people learned to wipe their asses! But man keep it in the family next time!
On a side note... glad you got your work time back for the rod!

Hey Sean,
Nice to hear your back from all that work. I missed you at BP. Ran into Scotty, but I was in a bad way with a slipped disk in my lower back. Doing much better now. I'm also ready to start working on the Caddy. Trying to get it ready for Paso. Just hard to find the time and money with the two babies.
Hope to see ya soon

Sean nice work , I am a Apple Mac user and really dig the new Itunes. It was time for PC users to see what they have been missing. Hell I still have a 9150 server on my network.
Just wish those Ipods would drop a bit in price where I could justify it....? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I work in K-12 education, and they are talking about phasing out the Macs. Teachers will be ticked (I'll be ticked!).
iPod is a great product and a quick money maker, but if Apple wants to stay in the game, they are gonna hafta get Microsoft to make ALL programs cross-platform, especially for me, ACCESS!
Snacky - No problem. Glad to help.
Brad - Good to hear your back on your feet. I got "paso projects" going too.
Bob - I've had my hand on the Ipod since we first released it. It's cool not having to have a stereo in my car anymore. Just a iPod hidden with an amp.
4t64rd - Not trying to start a Mac Vs. PC rant. There lame. Just you the tool that suits you best. I use both.

hey sean the new iBooks that have the G4, someone told me those are different g4 chips then in the aluminum powerbooks. Specifically that they didnt have the altivec engine. Is this true?? I thought all G4s had the altivec engine.
Steve - Nope, haven't heard of use shipping two flavors of the G4 or G5 processors.
The PowerPC G4 chip that ships in the new iBooks has the Velocity Engine (Altivec). The biggest difference I can see besides CPU speed is the AI PowerBooks have 512k backside (L2) cache where the iBooks have 256k.
Also, the iBooks have the ATI 9200 Radeon, the PowerBook comes with the ATI 9600 Radeon. The other plus is built in Bluetooth on the Powerbook.

thanks. thats what I thought. I thought he was full of it. I knew the other differences. Now if I could just turn my TiBook into a damn g5 tower haha
Steve,
No problems. I use a 863 TiBook as my moblie admin. Solid as a rock with Panther. Multihome issues have been dealt with finally!
Been playing with the G5 tower for a while now. It's a hot rod.
