Hi everyone, Simon over from the Jockey Journal here.

I've got a couple of projects I've bought this year, a 51 Studebaker 2R10 3/4t long bed pickup (for the bikes!) that I'm in the process of getting going, and a 51 Chevy panel delivery 3/4t (for the parts!) that is my somewhat-daily driver. Both still original engines and still fairly period.

I'm still a complete novice about these vehicles and American stuff in general so please bear with my stupid questions as I get going!

welcome to the hamb, from san jose. i like both the pickup and panel.

im also over on jockey journal and ride a '51 Norton Dominator...

Thanks for the kind words!

Scott - I like the trailer/wagon combo in your blog! One day I will get a vintage trailer...
I may need your recommendations for advice/work in the Bay Area as I'm not from here originally.

Engine Pro 5X - I'm toying with the idea of an R1 or R2 spec 289 engine for the Studebaker - maybe I'll need a crank to suit one day...

welcome...that studebaker will make a badass bike hauler...the panel is very cool too
