Hello HAMB,
This will serve as my formal intro to all you Kats and Kittens who live your lives awash in the excessive vices of traditonal hot-rodding. I ride with the HELL BENT HOODS CC (Gulf Coast) down here in The Heart of Dixie along with my brothers: Leadsled (Tim- a founding member of the club which started in SoCal); Phillip (HAMB member now relocated in TX) and Paul (Pensacola, FL). I must also mention our brothers in the Inland Empire, SoCal. I became a HAMB junior member April 2002 but didn't have a car at the time. So, I decided to cut my teeth on Tim's '53 MERC rather than pose on the computer. I have previous mechanic experience but this was my first go at a true Kustom. After diving head-first into the job with my brothers and after inumerable cases of PBR and the like, I must say I'm proud to ride shotgun or anywhere I can in what has become a dyed-in-the-wool badass leadsled. I now have a '64 Fairlane and a '55 Ford 2 door hardtop (thanks Phillip). We're gonna' drop the 289 from the '64 into the '55 and with a little luck and a lotta' heart she'll be on the rode at the most within' a year. That's my story and I'm glad to be here. If anyone doesn't like it, I fly for real cheap and I'll be happy to visit your town and adjust your attitude. Look forward to talking to everyone.
