Hi To All
I have been visiting the Hamb since the late 90s, but I never made a intro, mainly because, even though, I love old hotrods and customs, and just old cars in general, I never was able to have anything to work on!!
Between working all the time, and a kid in collage, etc etc etc, there was just anough money or time!! I have had a few old cars, down through time, but for whatever reason, was never able to hold on to them, long enough to do anything with them.
Well recently, I got another chance, and was able to buy a 51 chevy sport coupe.
Its a pretty solid old chev, and I have been working on the mechanicals, trying to get her road worthy, but its going to need lots of work, to get it where I would want it to be.
So Since, there is a wealth of knowhow, on here, and I am probadly going to need lots of advice, and I will be using the wanted section, for parts, I thought it time that I intro.
After I get the machanics worked out, I am going to try to shoot for a mild traditional custom look.
But I am new to all this, and no dought I well need lots of help!! I will try to post some pics of the old chev, so everbody can see what I have got so far.
Anyway I just want to say hi to everyone, and I have enjoyed the Hamb for years!!
