Well I traded the Mercury for a motorcycle . . .

and it is pretty damn nice . My new buddy Nick ( RoadDevil13 ) just traded me for his '56 panhead stroker . He recived the car last night no worse for wear on a trailer , and it sounds like he is pretty happy . It was sad to see it go , but happy in a wierd way too . Obviously , I'm glad to see it go to a HAMB'er someone who will take care of it and continue the work I was trying to do on it . He sounds like he is into it and after seeing his other cars I feel confident that he is the right man for the job .

I would like to thank everyone who talked me out of selling it before , if I had I would have never been able to make this trade , and THEN where would I be .

It is always odd to see your car drive away with someone else at the wheel , and even more strange to see it on the back of a trailer , but at the same time it was sort of liberating . I have a whole new world in my garage without a car parked in it . It is nice to get back onto a bike after so long . It was a Harley chopper that I built in a little shed in my backyard 15 years ago that got me into the whole old car thing , and it has continued to be the one vehicle I have really regreted loosing after all the trades & bought & sold cars .

Another big thanks to everyone on here who has helped me out with everything over the years I couldnt have kept the car on the road for the 5 years I had it without everyones input and good advice .

I posted it for sale a little while ago and then freaked out and decided to keep it . I never thought of trading it till Nick put his bike on a thread that he wanted to trade it for something . . . I have been wanting to get a bike again for a while , everything just clicked .

Yeah I have some Schwinn stingray bars I am contemplating . . . we will see how they work out . The bars are cool , but too wide for my taste . They are more like buckhorns than cruiser bars but I dont really like either too much . No biggie, that's part of the fun . Mr.Wonderful is actually a friend of mine & he knows alot of bike stuff so that was the tip off over there on FUCK! I aim going to paint it , but I am going to leave the cream indents the same colour . I have some green left over from the car . . . that would look nice together . cool bike, how many inches. looks like it's got shovel uppers on gen cases, I love those wide glide's with no front brake makes em look good. more info on the bike would be great.
