I know most everybody has discussed the Henry Gregor Felson books and Robert Sidney Bowen has also been talked about.

I recently found a book called Drag Doll by R.W. Campbell that was wrote in 1962.It's about like the rest. Boy gets a car and gets in trouble then buys a unfinished Hot Rod Custom. Then they form carclub, get dragstrip and put on a car show.Very similar to alot of the others but I still enjoyed it.

Anyone know if this guy wrote any more books like this?

highschool level reading, worth reading.

Flt-Top I've bought a few books through Abebooks. Its a pretty good source.
