is there someone/place that made/makes intake manifolds for a 235 chevy six that incorporate a 4 barrel carburetor? I talked to a guy at BTT50's that had a stand with dozens of weird 2X1 3X1 3X2 2X4 manifolds, and I asked him if he had a 4 barrel manifold for a 235, and he said hed never seen one, and he also said he had the most extensive collection of odd intakes hed ever seen. I know ive seen a 4 barrel manifold for a chevy 6, but it wasnt for a 235 (there are a few different bolt-up patterns for chevy sixes im told). Does anybody make something like this? Any help is appreciated http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif.................................Briggs

There is a guy in my area (XHAMBER) who made an adapter to run this big 4 barrel into the stock 1 barrel intake. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
I don't know how it ran but I'd seen the truck a few times and never asked about it because I thought it was GAY.

did the adaptor bolt up to the manifold or did he have to cut the manifold up?

It was a big phenolic spacer that sat right ontop of the stock uncut intake. It looked like it was kind of inefficent trying to get all that air/fuel thru that 1 barrel intake opening, Ya know?
