dumb paint question [Archive]

I have come by a small quanity of paint (20 gallons) from Tractor Supply co. It takes for ever to harden and dry is their anything I can do to speed up drying or harden. This is not on a car or any thing nice just work trailers and outside equipment. Thank You for any help..

Stuff called JAPAN DRIER. Might work. Try local house paint store or hardware store. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I'm guessing you have some sort of enamel.You could use 1-Shot hardener to make it set up quicker and harder.Or any hardener used for automotive paints.

'Probably a synthetic enamel paint. Go to an autobody supply, and ask for a hardener for "Dulux", if they carry Dupont paint.

any enamel hardener should work. If you have a NAPA close by, ask for 8850 or 8870.
