Greetings, I'm 69 years old, & have been into cars since my first one at 14, a 1930 Chev coupe, which cost $15.00 in 1953. My current cars include a 1957 Cad coupe, 1937 Ford 2 door flatback, 1959 English Ford ( Escort) wagon, chopped 4 1/2", with a 215 Buick, T-10 4 speed, & narrowed 9", and my current project, a 1954 Plymouth wagon. I'm currently doing my first frame graft on the Plymouth, (s-10). I will also be installing a 400" small block & 700R4. The roof may get lowered before I'm finished. Thanks, Bob

welcome to the HAMB, I've got a 54 Plymouth too and doing the S10 swap once I get some concrete laid down to work on. Any pics of the S10 graft?

I do have some frame graft pictures, not sure how to send them to you thru the HAMB. Send me your e-mail address, & I'll get them to you that way. Bob

Welcome aboard Bob! Post a few pics of your rides!! Just open a Photobucket account, and pu thte pics on there, then they're pretty easy to upload from Photobucket to the Hamb. :-)

Bob,
I just got a chance to look at those pictures of your sub frame swap, looks very good. I never thought to cap the plymouth frame for better matting surface. Thanks again for the pics.

Greetings -

Found this site from Club Hot Rod and signed up to take advantage of the "wit and wisdom" that's available here. working on a little 63 Nova SS. It's been a 20 year project (four kids - college - building a business, etc.. slowed the progress a bit! You all know the drill). Hope to have it up and running very soon.

I put a Macpherson/Carrera coil kit in from Fat Man Fabrications, new rear end and springs from Eaton, engine and Super T-10 from a Z-28 with some nice Billet Specialties serpentine pulleys and a few other nice pieces of add on “stuff”.

I’ve bought lots of new interior parts and exterior trim pieces (badges, script and such) from Classic Industries. I’m having the rear seat done locally. I went with a brushed aluminum bezel and new Auto Meter instruments. Overall look should be good.

New front sheet metal and a 2” cowl hood have just recently been attached. Next big step is paint (which I will have done – some things are just better to have done by a pro).

I’m finding I have a lot more patience now that I did in the 1960’s. Hmmmm, there may be a lesson there. It’s a real joy to have my grandkids “help” in the garage now and to know that they will someday get to drive a piece of history.

Regards All,
Glenn Sexton
