57pickup

Hi everyone,
I found this forum when I was looking for information about double hump heads. What a great place to get information!
Some info about my project: I have a 57 Chevy 1/2 ton pickup. It is a stepside short bed truck. This truck is in very sad shape. I found it in a barn. It didn't run or roll for that matter. When I opened the door it had 8" of mouse nesting in it. I bought the truck less than a year ago. It had been sitting since 1985. Why did I buy this sad truck you may ask? Well, when I was 17 (late 70's) I owned this very truck. I sold it to a friend who later traded it for a horse and the truck has been on his farm since then. I just couldn't pass it up. It spent several years outside in the weather before being moved to the barn. It is a good thing because there probably wouldn't be anything left. It will need a lot of body work. It currently has a 327 sbc and a Muncie 4 speed in it. I was able to get the 327 running with surprising little effort. I plan on building a 350 into a 383 and keeping the 4 speed. I'm looking for a M/T Cross Ram intake and a different rearend for it. The wood in the bed will need replaced.
I'm sure I'll have lots of questions since this is my first project.
