...or, "How I beat Hatch to an old bike."
Well, I guess this one doesn't count, since it's not motorized. I spotted this on a backroad in Midland County while going with a friend to attend a Township Meeting (long story). We stopped in to the house and asked the nice old couple there if they were getting rid of the bike or if it was just a lawn ornament. They said "Please take it! There were two more out there. We've had them sitting in the pole barn for over twenty years."
I don't know if this is valuable or not, but it sure is neat. I'm not going to touch it except to put new tires on it and lube the chain. It's a Sears pseudo-tank model. Anybody know how old it is or how to get those headlights working?
