Can`t find anything but Brass hinges when I search the net.
Would prefeer steel/iron hinges ...
Any help would be highly appreciated http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
BTW .. I have some `36 Ford hinges in my pile-o-parts , and with "some" work , they might do the job , but it seems like a waste of time if there is steel/iron repros out there .

I had to replace a hinge on my 30 and all I found were brass. They are NOT DRILLED AND TAPPED either.

any reason you don't want to use the brass ones?

36-3W.. Brookville Hinges turned out to be Brass ,,
PORKNBEANS .. THANX .. Found their Web-page .. Will Call em`..
STEEVIL .. the way I see it , it will be much easier to make a close fit on the doors / Body , if I can spot-weld hinges in place when everything is lined up .., and then drill the bolt-holes .
THANX Guys .. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

The Wescott '32 door hinges that are commonly used are made out of bronze, not brass, like their '32 windshield stanchions are.

The original '32 Ford door hinges were forged steel, not castings.

Not to argue with Dave, but the Wescott hinges on my 32 are cast iron.
Magnet sticks to it anyway and when they were re-drilled for an oversized pin they drilled like steel/cast iron.

Probably has to do with the fact that my Wescott body is an 85 era model.

If Wescott has only bronze hinges nowadays you might give Lebaron-Bonney a call.
They make/handle a lot of stuff that other suppliers do and the prices are many times lower.

I'm pretty sure they are the main supplier for top irons & oak bows that other dealers sell for a slightly inflated price.
