I painted my engine today and finished up some wiring in the front end...
I think it turned out pretty good. We'll be putting the rest of the engine together soon and swapping out the hardware for stainless. If you'll notice, my water pump looks a little strange. The engine came with a waterpump with a longer shaft. We needed the shorter one to put the engine in my car. My dad suspected that we might be able to press the water pump to get the pulleys where we need it and then cut off the excess. Not only did this work like magic, but we also saved $100 by re-using the one we had. What you see is before we trimmed the shaft.
