Yeah you got it - its an Aussie version Leyland P76 - 270 cubes

should be a fun ride,

bet you could keep the weight down to about 1500 pounds using the glass body and aluminum block!

I'm not too familiar with that particular motor, izzat similar to the Rover then?

The glass body is one of Ian Cameron's of Designed Chassis on the Gold Coast. Ian's been making T bucket kits as well as these 27's for decades. Mine cost $1500 and is good quality. For someone on a budget it s acheap way to start a project. Although there is a guy down south making one piece model A'now if you prefer that style - theyre pretty cheap too
