Scott here from Dallas Ga. , I have enjoyed the site for a long time now and figured it was time to join in. I'm 46 years old and run a litle ole pig stand in Austell Ga. I have always been into cars as long as I remember. I guess i caught the addiction from my dad , I used to play in his old fenderless 32 3 window when I was young. . I have just sold my 1967 chevy II stock suspension 10.5 heads up drag car to try something new.I have a 55 ford fairlane now. Going sunday to pick up a 1938 Ford coupe (hopefully)

Yes its a BBQ place , I live 5 min from the old southeastern international dragway in Dallas, I think that might be the same strip your talking about.We used to go to Huntsville dragway 2 or 3 times a year untill I sold my race car this year. The ORSCA cars that we raced with will be there this weekend.

Yes , drove to Washington D.C. sunday picked the car up and drove straight home.(hell of a non stop trip)
