50 chevy drag link instructions

I need to find info on how the drag link from the steering box to the idler goes together. The one I took out of my 50 Chevy had broken springs and I have the rebuild kit but must have forgot the exact way the springs and cups are installed.

The springs should hold the"cups'halves towards the Ball on the Pitman arm.....Oh... would an Intro help us to know you better? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thanks for the info and I am a new 1950 chevy Hardtop owner.front end done, now I am preparing to order new wiring, old is original and in bad shape.
