Greazy Hubcaps, I must have went to the wrong show a couple weeks back, looked all over for y'all, didnt see any of ya but had a great time lookin stuff over...i did find a 49 chevy 2-door for sale cheap though...no engine, no title, pretty solid except for around the splash pan around the rear bumper, the fella was askin $200 for it...how difficult is it to get a title for somethin in Tennessee?
got a job at the tent factory, gotta be there in 45 minutes so I better hit the road, lol....

A title is easy to get in Tennessee. Basically, as long as you have a bill of sale and there is a VIN on the car you should be okay. I bought a truck out of a junkyard, and I had to have a Sheriff's deputy verify that the number on the bill of sale matched the truck, and that's pretty much it. Tennessee is not a state with a bunch of hassles.

Sorry we missed ya, we had our weekends mixed up and went to a different car show. I heard that one was a good show though.
spdshaft is right, it's real easy to get a title. I done both the merc's and one of the coupe's that way.

The folks here told me that the car had to be completed and driveable before the "man" could check it. Was that the case with you guys? Or just another example of their incompetence? I need to get one for my 33 and who knows when that will be driveable.
