Hi. I got 47 ford coupe with a 284 cu/in flatmotor, cm bloc, 3 5/16 bore,4 1/8 strk,iski 400 jr. cam 1 5/8 intakes offy 10 1/2 heads, offy super dual man. with a pair 94s on top, mallory lectronic spark, ceramic coated fentons. I spent alotof time porting and polishing and modiffying the heads and valve guides.Did a lot of stuff to make sure it ran cool,cleand out block and rad. put on a fan shroud perf. fan, new water pumps. It was worth the effort as rhe engine runs 155 degs. with 160 thrmos.even when doing parades. the car is black with flames. Istuck a t-5 on the back of the flattie and converted the banjo to open drive. It goes pretty good and it`s fun to drive. it is pretty much what it would have been in late 40 s or early 50.s Then the olds and other @#*% overheads had to come along and spoil everything but it`s all right, i`m still having fun. huffnpuff
