the model a went for 130 thousand today at delano mn,300th model a built ,wonder if the buyer is gonna drop it and run fenderless http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif of course it is a first production model a from 1903

alot of fantastic cars at the auctionSerial No. 300. This is the finest 1903 known to be in existence. This 1903 Model A is believed to be the 300th Ford ever built. This vehicle belonged to Warner Brothers at one time. There is a picture that goes with thevehicle showing Jane Russell in this particular car. Again, this car was completely rebuilt, the engine parts were machined for it, and it was brought back to its original color along with the pin striping that was appropriate for the car when it was produced. It is believed that there are fewer than 60 of these cars in the world today. This car is a Meadowbrook Concourse First Place Winner

well wait until we see what the 32 went for , i been out to john's place and the people buying this stuff are way beyond rich, he is a great guy ,even has a sense of humour about other car makes http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif,he is only selling about 30 or so,just wants to let someone else take care of them, very hard to see them go i bet though ,his family had one of the first ford dealerships in minnesota, henry came and set them up in business i heard the deuce started at 72 thousand

Thanks for posting that info. For those that are wondering this is a rear entrance tonneau, one door in the back. The tonneau was removable and would turn the car into a two passenger runabout.

The first production Model T Ford was assembled at the Piquette Avenue Plant in Detroit on October 1, 1908. Over the next 19 years, Ford would build 15,000,000 automobiles with the Model "T" engine

this model t is number 90 of the serial numbers, how crazy is that!!! i am a model t nut and my 25 roadster pickup is cool but ,any early t's are faboulous
