Hello everyone, I'm the Ol'hotrodder.
My current car is 1939 Chevy. I bought it a little over a year ago. It sorely needed somebody to show it love and attention. I like to think I rescued it.
It's chopped 5 1/2 inches has the standard fair 350/350 Heidts front end 9 inch ford in back. It's got big and littles PS,PB, tilt wheel blah blah blah. No air. I rebuilt the top of that 350 put in a Be Cool Radiator, new power steering pump, new brakes, water pump, fuel pump and set of block huggers. That car shows real well now and goes like h-- now. Put me in the Emergency Room twice. Once with a broken thumb, putting the hood back on. and once for stitches installing a set of mufflers. But that was the worst of it. I took a Rodders/Rep pick in Madison Goodguys last month and decided it was worth a broken thumb.
Anyway my brother and I have been around cars for as long as I can remember and had many different experiences. I retired a few years ago and got to a little more time to mess them. I got a picture of the car in here somewhere. I still trying to get the hang of a bulletin board. I decided I had to sign up so I could congratulate the guy who got SCTA jacket. I been trying to hunt one down for years. My Thanks to a HAMB fellow for guiding me to this intro.
