Just introducing myself. My name is Mitch and I reside in Lolo, Montana. My title, Hiline29, will hopefully be the license plate on my finished street rod. The Hi-line is the north central part of the state where my in-laws live and I will likely be moving. There is also a good chance that most of the restoring will take place there as well since my father in-law has the shop and the know-how. This is partly the reason for my project - to try and develop something in common with my father-in-law. I know very little about cars and have decided to learn by doing. I joined this forum figuring I could use all of the help I could get as my father-in-law is not always helpful. I plan to street rod a 29 Model A sedan. I bought the car last month in Polson, MT from a true rat rodder. he insisted that I do all of the work myself or he would not sell me the body. I have started the process of building a frame with a well known Montana frame builder, Patrick Plaiss, who also resides in Polson. I am now trying to start the process of accumulating parts. I will appreciate all the help anyone can give me and apologize that I am not very helpful to anyone else at this point. Let the hard knocks begin.

Welcome. Mitch,
Hope we can all help with some answers when needed. A lot of info here at HAMB, especially when you search for info. I lived a year at Great Falls, back in 1969, while in the AF. It is a beautiful state..

Am working on a '39 Ford pickup cab on a '83 Blazer chassis down here.. Good Luck with your project and again...WELCOME!...duane
