Jeff, I'm running Packard 440 Wires and Rajah clips on the 283 in my '36. Is that what you mean? I don't recall ever hearing of Rajah wires. To me the deal with the clips is it would pretty much take an act of congress to make them fall off. Very positive. Wayno

im running the clear red wires with raja ends, i have had them for about 2 years now, and never a problem...i got them from hot rod and custom supply.
You guys running Boots on the Rajah ends? I have all the ends and the red wire. I think they look a little "naked" w/o boots?

Back in the early 60's Packard 440 wires with Rajah clips meant your shit was built to go fast. The solid core wires tore up any radio listening on the old AM radios. They are no problem with the FM radios. We would rev the engine at the stop lights and watch the guy next to you try to adjust the radio.
You can get them in the 90 deg and straight configuration. They used to make a bakelite terminal for the dist cap end too, but I haven't seen any in a while.
nekid for sure. We were proud of them. I'd never hide 'em.

Guys.I guess I have the terminolgy wrong...I want to run them red /clear spark wires on my hemi.....sorry...and I wanted to know if they were just a dressy item or they had a performance edge.... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif ...can ya get straight boots for them as well?
Jef, I am running the red wire for a very important reason. My stock 409 Valve covers have wire separators built in that wont handle big/modern wire! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Don't hemis have special wire ends to reach down inside the valve cover?
"Nekid" Rajahs might arc over to the valve cover. I don't think Rajahs are what you want for a hemi. I'd canabalize a stock set of wires for the ends to put on the red wire. I've never made up a set of hemi wires though.
