Definately! Streamline has the best show I have ever been to every May. Check them out at 8th and Kalmath. Other than that I just hear about this stuff last minute.

OK, I give up. The only options I have on MS Photo Editor are sharpen or soften and both make the picture look worse. I have a butt load more pics too. Even the ones I took in low res are too big and then get screwed up when I resize. If somebody has any bright ideas let me know. They look great on my computer and then I post them here and they are crap. No offense CRAP.

I went hoping to find cool stuff in the swapmeet. Didn't. We went to the hotel thing by chance. I got gas at the station next to it and saw the cars. We walked through it and snapped some pics. I didn't want to bother with the show on the weekend and pay $15 again. I can buy three beers at the bar with $15 and tip. $15 should cover the entire weekend. Who really goes more than one day anyways? I know there are some but it has to be a small percentage unless your car is there. Uh, who cares. Those big shows tire me out anyways. After looking at a bunch of crap all day you finally find a car you like.

the first ford pickup, primer with the green fenders parks on my block everyday, belongs to the woman over at the bodyshop by me, and the red model a with the lettering also is close by, from the bumper shop a few blocks away. funny, i've never talked to either owner! i'm not very socialable i guess.

anybody see that falcon wagon in the swap meet? is's now parked in my back yard, bought and delivered for 8 bills, AND the guy is gonna come back this week and buy one of MY "projects". should be a fun build for the girlfriend's driver. rock solid 2 door wagon, only rust is the spare tire well and the rear cargo floor from something that was in the car. came with a comet front clip too. i think it was the steal of the weekend, i TRIED not to buy it, i left it till sunday! as for the rest of the swap meet...

cal custom 40-40 carb scoop, $2

bitchin OLD(40's?) craftsman toolbox, kinda art deco, $5

some cool hubcaps, really just "spokes" of a radir lookalike mag wheel, they snap into the rim of a steelie $15

and a bunch of boring shit to finish projects, lights, guages, mirrors, etc. all cheap though! i'm sure i left some good shit for the rest of you's...

of course goodguys lightened my pocket a fair share, i passed on registering my car, so i paid admission on friday just to hit the swap, came back saturday to hit the swap cause all the vendors don't come on friday, so another $15, well the dude who had the falcon wasn't there friday, and no price/number, he was there saturday, so i tell the ol lady about the car, she want's to see it( and i lost the dudes number overnight), so we BOTH go sunday, another $30 just in admission so we can go deal with the car and leave 20 minutes later. thats $60 in admission i dropped for the weekend. i don't mind the $15, but i agree, that should get spectators in all weekend. it made all the cheap parts a wash.

yeah, and friday is DEAD compared to saturday, but then saturday was way fucking busy.

Next time I will go on Sat. I would rather deal with the crowds than the lack of cars. I was talking to my neighbor today and he said Sat. was out of control busy. I was thinking we would get the pick of the litter in the swap meet by going Fri. but I think the opposite is true. People were still pulling trailors of stuff in as we were leaving on Fri. There was probably a lot more to choose from. I even had one guy tell me to find him at the end of the day Sun. to buy something that I wanted. Huh? I make an offer and you say no ask me later. I told him I wasn't going to spend $15 to get in again and I will just find what I want on eBay.

Oh, and if I had the money I would have bought that Falcon wagon. I was telling CRAP how cool it was and that I wanted it. I took a look at it and instantly saw a gasser! The Radirs didn't look that bad to me. The only problem I saw were that two were 14s. I would rather have all 15s. That guy would have probably sold them for $25. I made a low offer on something there and he didn't even haggle. He just said ok grab it.

I don't think Goodguys should worry about attendance but I will say that the entrance fees and venue suck.
