This car was at the Cumberland Md run. I know it's not a 32 but I liked it!! We talked to the current owner for a bit and were glad to hear he will not change a thing. He found it in a barn where it had be sitting since the early seventies. He told us the original owner put the Caddy motor in in 51 or 52. He got it out of a brand new Caddy that was wrecked. The car was painted black some time around 57 and is over the original gray paint.

The guy told us it took very little to make the car road worthy. He repainted the wheels red and installed new tires. The carb needed rebuilt and a new exhaust was put on. After a little driving the wter pump needed rebuilt. Otherwise it is the way it was.

Cool ;looking car!
Now how many 37's do you see???
Too many 32's !
They used these for stock car racing in the 50's and I can't tell you the number of older guys who have come up to me and said... I wish I had a nickle for every one of those I wrecked at a race. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
Of course I'm kinda partial. But gimme my flatty anyday.

Too cool. That's right up there with Fuelpump's as "Favorite '37 of all time!"

Very cool. That must have been one of the origional Fordillacs. Great to see he's going to keep it pretty much as he found it. That car could be restored to it's hot rod glory days and be a perfect driver today.
