I recently acquired a '46 flathead with an oil pan that has a small tube opening on the driver's side that appears to be some kind of breather? Can anyone enlighten me as to it's purpose and how it is supposed to be capped so oil doesn't blow all over the place? I'm not that familiar with this engine, so any info is appreciated!!! Thanks!
