Hey all you paint gurus. I have a couple qestions to ask and maybee a favor.
Where do I get orange flake? Or copper?
OR
Does anyone have a little Orange flake I could beg,borrow or steal, or even buy?
We are spraying the wheels for the touring at the end of next week, I need something by then. Thanks. Trent
when you spray them, post a picture please. im looking at doing the same thing for the dudgemobile

try moseart.com .....sid moses is THE man....thats where i get a majority of mine ........real good guy too ...... also there is usually a guy on epay who sells it pretty cheap too . i think has orange listed .......as well as silver etc.....
Thanks guys, I have silver already..just need some orange to do what I want on these wheels. I will look into those links, I am sure I can 3day some stuff to me.
OK, been told this before........what technique and or amounts do you guys use in clear???? We are going to be spraying PPG Omni.

i go with about 3 or 4 ounces per mixed quart ..i like alot of flake.....

Tman, I've only sprayed a little bit of flake and used a regular gun and no oversized tip. It never seemed like enough flake was coming out even though I mixed alot in the clear. Kept makeing several passes over it to build it up and then it seemed like way too much clear per coat.Then the amount of straight clear to cover the flake and make it smoothe was alot. That little gun looks like a big money saver on the clear.

Imp, I am trying for the subdude look on this job, I will be fine. But, I know what you mean.I have run into the prob before. That gun intrigues me....................
