I know, I know......I just said wood.
I am about ready to replace the wood in my coupe. What kind of hardwoods have you used succesfully for body supports? Any particular reason you selected it?
Thanks in advance.
oak? ash? I would look at the suppliers and see what they make theirs from. I am torn between replacing the wood in my coupe or going with steel tube. I teach wood shop, I dont think making your own pieces would be that hard?? especially considering the cost of buying a kit??
The body carcasses of the British Morgan sports cars are still made out of seasoned Ash. Just like they have been for getting close to a century.
