I think for $10, you'd still be getting took. Of course, I could use the tail gate, if it was good......

How long would the driveshaft be? 3"?

Oughta be a wheelstander though. Assdraggers old man had a Wagon with an altered wheelbase about 18 years ago. It was setting in his shed with no motor and the front end was so light he could pick the front of the Car up by the Bumper! By hand! And he was a little guy.

That would have been a taildraggin sob if he ever finished it. What happened to it Tony?

List of parts in that P.O.S, 57 Chevy rear, 57 Chevy front fenders, 57 Chevy hood, 57 Chevy Wagon Tailgate, Tailgate glass....

If I were in Oregon, I'd go $20

If you look close at the larger picture, the bottom of the Door is fuzzy. Photo Shop joke? Or just a low resolution Camera?

Time was those were common as nails , had one offered to me a couple years ago -427, 4 spd, 488 posi, steel tilt front and a long history of high speed chases locally -passed -25 years after it went on blocks, the local cops still talk about that car.Don't need the heat-lol
Update- it was crushed this last spring, AFTER being stripped ,of course

I still don't quite understand what the hell that is about... someone posted a few weeks ago I think a Pontaic that had been cut up and shrunk like that. What the hell is the deal with these cars? Were they made for speed? Novelties? Circuses?

Why ask why? It's like asking why is the sky blue? Why are boobs good? How does a bee buzz?

That car has character...a snub-nosed .38 in a drawer full of Glocks!!!

I dunno, but I kinda dig it!!! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Damn BFTWCS, just saw this. I traded dad out of that wagon, put a 327 in it, played with it for a while then I traded it for a FED.

When dad first built that car he put a 454 in it. On his first ride he took it to the parking lot of the shop he worked at and got on it hard. The car had a single track rearend, the front wheels came off the ground and the car did about a 90 degree turn and headed straight for the shop office. The state inspecter from the highway patrol was in the office and he ran like hell http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gifwhen he saw that car coming for him but the ol`man got it shut down before it hit the plate glass shop window!

I laughed my ass off.....still do!

that one started as a 2 dr wgn? most of em were 4dr wgns or even 4dr sedans cut down. --After a good look , so did this one.The front doors + back qtr glass are definately 4 dr.a lot of these were built because the 2 drs wgns were and are hard to find , drag racers may have thought it had a weight transfer advantage ,but that story above is a good example of how they handled , most ended up as parade clown cars or wrapped around trees.over the years I have seen maybe 8 to 12 of these in the 55-7 over the years, even a pontiac done this way, but none ever seemed to be around long.
