Rare El Mirage picture op last weekend

El Mirage got rained out Sat. night and I was able to snap some amazing photos that I want to share with everybody.
This was a very rare photo opportunity because usually if the lake bed is wet, the rangers won't let anybody on it, and usually scta knows ahead of time if a meet is going to be rained out and they cancel it, but this storm hit by suprise Sat. night after most racers had shown up. Enjoy:

Those pictures are fantastic. You guys both did a great job.
I've never seen any pictures of El Mirage after rain like that. It's kind of earie to see.

In Denver the sky was always freaking out of control especially in late May/early June.
OrYgon is beautiful, but the weather is dull.

I just bought some wide angle lens for my digital camera.... nothin fancy, but it does make a difference.

Man, I've never seen so many grown men get all emotional about the weather, I think it's great!!. ...... Now if I only had some naked chicks in those photo's too... Hmmm.... Photoshop anyone?
