An apology to Old School HAMB Members

I've been completely absent the last month or so... I've been busy starting a new job, buying a new house, selling an old house, and just generally stressing out over every day life.

Apparently, the HAMB has suffered as a result. I've read a few posts and have heard about a bunch more. The place has gone to the birds so to speak and I sincerely apologize for my part in that. I owe you guys alot more than I am giving right now.

Well, that shit is over starting now. If you registered less than a year ago, you had better watch your ass. Kevin and I are starting an aggressive campaign to clean this place up. We are done deleting posts and handing out ass slaps... From now on, we are banning folks - no questions asked. The HAMB has been slow as shit and we aren't going to let performance suffer for bullshit posts from people that don't understand this place or its values. We just don't have the time to deal with these people and we don't want to lose our favorite audience - old school hambers.

Also, I came home to over 1000 emails and 400 pms. I don't have time to read them all right now, so I am gonna start another post with the list of people who have paid for thier auctions this past week. I don't want these folks to have to wait for their goods and I want to be able to thank all the people that donated their stuff to help support the junk. These people are so appreciated... I'll post the list later tonight.

I agree with all the above posts. I don't have many post on the HAMB for the simple reason that there seems to be a lot of BS....which I simply do not care to respond to. Having been a customizer and hot rodder for nearly 58-years
I believe I understand what the HAMB is suppose to be about...and if I have to explain, you wouldn't understand.

Ryan...you're doing a good job and doing what you have to do to provide us with good format. Just keep up the great work and things will pan out for the best. There are a lot of great people on the HAMB, and a lot of good information to be had...I know we all appreciate all your efforts.

Looking at the oil filter on the engine reminds that it seemed to be the left side head gasket that blew instead of the easy to access and remove right one.
Said rule still holds true . . . when my 88 Mustang GT sprung a rocker cover leak it was always the one under the intake.

That's when I saw a Hot Rod for the first time. I hope the fact that I like some of the design elements of that car will not get me banned from this board.
