i've done alot of airbrushing,so i decided that painting something bigger can't be that hard....BULLSHIT!!!...it was hard.this is the first thing i've ever painted without a spray paint can.i figured i'd try on something small like our dash.got a couple little spots and a couple of runs to sand,but i'm pretty happy with it.it's not a show car.lots of striping will fix it http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

what kinda paint were you using and was it single stage or clear coated (or some kinda crazy candy--I cant really tell)

looks bitchin man.....i like the color....what paint did you use?....and i am glad somebody can see that painting isn't as easy as it looks.....but it is fun isn't it ?....again i think it looks great..

I only paint for myself now....

it's all house of kolor...base coat white on the lower dash and base coat black with kandy apple red base coat over it on the top....4 coats of the kandy base coat...the black base coat makes it look like a burgandy,i took the steering wheel outside and the color is sick in the sun.
