I was told the other day if I visited I was a Damn Yankee, If I stayed I was a F'in Yankee. Oh well, I'm here till I die, which at my age, might not be that far in the future. Anyways, Hated the North, raced here in the South and around the country. Cars have been my life. I did the Photo/Writer gig for Street Rodder/Custom Rodder/Street Chopper and others in the late 70's. Have done PR, been a NASCAR Track Manager up in NH, currently a Goodguy Rep, work for IHRA as a Tech Inspector, Owned Total Rod Shop, just a bunch of stuff. Built my first car at age 13, a '52 Henry J, straight axle with a 265 Chevy. Looking to build the first car again if I can find one if half decent shape. Currently drive a '31 Ford Sedan with the roof cut off. I've lived here now for a year, would't trade the people here for anyone up North. Love the area, the fishing, hate the fire ants though. Got anything to share, I'm at goodguystu@hotmail.com

Welcome!
I'm a "Yankee" in the south as well. Agree with you! I love it and will retire here.
