What happened to my deleted post & Why?

What happens to posts that deleted? Do they get stored somewhere? I posted a URL earlier allowing a full search on all the Craigslist sites at one time-thought it would be helpful for searching for parts. It disappeared, which is fine, but I don't know why it was deleted or what I did wrong??

Yeah, it happens from time to time. It's almost spooky. I once posted a quote between Roth and Von Dutch about Christ and presto-chango, it disappeared.

Guys I'm sure that you all meant well but - the rules are pretty clear on both the main HAMB page and the classifeds etc.

This is a traditonal Hot Rod / Custom site and would like to keep stories related to that with out having to link other sites etc.
We like to keep things here.

Links to other sites we try to keep off , as it can get TOTALLY out of hand with link here/link there.

Religion or refering to religion is not allowed as well.
