There was a vendor at the Jefferson Swap in WI selling tons of vintage intakes, including a bunch of Inline intakes. They had 2 Thickstuns, but they wanted $425 each for them, unpolished, no linkage. Expensive, but if you can't wait for eBay, their email is SEND1313@AOL.COM (Scott & Sara Sendtko)

Yeah Joe, they always have a lot of cool vintage shit, but it is pricey. I got my Nicson 216 valve cover from them a few years ago.

He carries the intake...

If you have a question about that maybe he could help.

As for the air-cleaner, I think someone does reproduce them. One's on ebay right now.

The head covers and heads are reproduced by different people. The heads are hard to come by even as reproductions and the covers are reproduced by a couple of different people and aren't that hard to find but their still pricey.

Thanks for the info. I have to admit i'm not much of a flathead guy, but I think If I ever did do one up I would like the complete Thickston look. I do recall the covers being origanaly designed to keep the water out on a boat engine.

I picked this up at Hershey for $300. There were 2 others there, $425 no carbs & $525 with carbs & a pair of Clark headers.
