I want to use a factory color that is pre-60. Is there an easy way to find what was available or do I just have to find old color books/brochures. I would like something similar to what Roth used on his Lil Jewel Sedan. (or it someone knows that color that was let me know so I have a starting point)

You might try a body shop that has been in business a long time. They might have old paint chips still laying around. I know one guy who does restorations who has them back into the 50s.

Try the paint manufactures websites. They (not all of em) have QandA section. Also GM has a historical museum where they have specialists on old car info. A little digging might turn up gold.
