Ok, did I miss something? Has the scope of this board been changed? I get the occasional O/T, but in the last little while I have seen posts for / containing:

- Lowering a late model Suburban
- billet wheels for sale
- talk of 80's Camaros
- bumpers for '92 and up Chev truck for sale
- TPI & LS1 talk
- Prostreeted Novas
- pastel paint
- Mustang II suspension tech
- etc, etc, etc

I just wanted to make sure...

Maybe you should report them (little black button - lower left) that way the porn police could get rid of them.

I noticed that too, I guess I haven't been around long enough, I thought it was normal.

Oh, I am - like I said I was just asking if I had missed something. I seriously doubted I had, but stranger things have happened...

I don't think it's anything to get in a twist about. The HAMB has never been 100% on topic all the time, and likely never will be. You wouldn't really want it that way, wouldja??

If you are bummed about HAMB content, the best remidy is to make up a tech post. Always works for me.

Soooo this isn't the site to get info on lowering my pastel late model LS1 powered pro street suburban? Jimminey Snickets!

It's like going to Hunnert or any show close to being equal, (we all know nothing is equal to that). If you look hard enough you'll find something that slipped through the gate unchecked. If you relax, have fun and just look, you see way more of what you went for.

Just ignore the threads you don't like and they'll fall off likr usually. And the ones that don't either have some merit or get locked or removed.

It all equals out eventually.

Ok, look no one else needs to post to this thread I just had noticed what I thought was a lot more of traditional non-HAMB friendly topics. I just thought these used to be "policed" alot more or something. It just seems like the old "dedicated to spreading the gospel of traditional hot rods and customs..." was either more enforced or respected.

Alot has changed around here lately and I did not know if it had become more acceptable. I maybe / am probably mistaken, I am not knocking this forum, and I didn't post this to get some smart assed reply.

It was just my observation - my question - I meant nothing by it.

Lock 'er up I'm done! :D

C&C, you're right on all accounts and what you're speaking of should and I hope will never change. Never apologize for thinking that way.

sometimes it's tough for the moderators/editors to catch them all

If you guys would have seen the real early hamb, you wouldn't be asking this. About 10% on topic and the rest was mostly...well............. silly. It was fun back then too, but the hamb is more on topic now than ever.

At least the OT post are about cars and not about some old clock that a guy has or what kind of hat people wear (those post are there too).

Thanks for the Heads Up, if a topic doesn't interest me I don't bother to read it, but there are HAMB rules stated or implied thast should be observed.

Yet you haven't reported a single one? This is a traditional forum and we try to catch as much of that stuff as we can... but sometimes stuff gets through and we rely on people to report those...

Like I said Ryan I was just asking, because I didn't know if something had changed. I didn't want to be reporting things if somehow things had become more acceptable. Thanks for all the input guys.
