64 Impala four door, 327 bored .40 over, 350 crank, one step hotter than rv cam, with exhaust and intake about 20% larger. I wonder just exactly what carb will be best for this project. I just purchased the Holley Street Avenger intake manifold made for (idle to 7200). I live high altitude and want to family cruise this car with a custom tear drop trailer in tow. Car is shaved, welded and blocked, just about ready for paint. Want to re live those days in the 60's taking my family through the national parks. I'd like a carb that's trouble free and does not load up when at 12000 ft. nor choke at sea level. Not easy I've found. Any suggestions?

Best regards,

Guacamole

Carter AFB is good [do need a regulator]-Edelbrocks are pretty trouble free.
The Holleys that have a solid bowl and a top like a Motorcraft used to look like are fair...other than that Id stay away from Holleys.
