4th headbanging 1/8 miler (with pictures-dammit!)

Once again our club the Hot Heads East hostet the headbanging, a 1/8 mile drag race held at our local air field. About a 100 bikes and cars raced in 7 classes. We don't take it too serious. Flag man and hand timing is still good enough. We had guests from from Germany, Netherlands, Sweden, England, Switzerland, Austria, Luxembourg, Belgium and even from the US. Everything was easy going, no fights, accidents or such. Friday and saturday night we had The Wild Wood Boys, The Mad Men, Randy Rich & the Poor Boys and SoCals Pep Torres on stage. I like to thank all the voluntary supporters, the musicians and everybody who was there with or with out their phantastic rides. It would be nothing with out you. Thanks again. Great stuff! Looks like the European version of the HAMB drags with a little more "attitude"... The flagman really get's into it, doesn't he? That first shot is suitable for framing...it's my new computer background.

Some great shots. As as been mentioned, most of them could have come from the early days of drag racing here in the states. If you have some early Hot Rod mags, just check and compare.
