I'd like to go for a 60's style with this thing, so show me what you've got.
Thanks.....Tyson

you will find very few folks on here who like fendered rides or have pics of them. I have one here it is.

model A phaetons are very rare in any form
Good luck finding pics. They are fairly rare, which is odd, they were all over the rod runs in the 70s. Here is one we built for a customer.

The highest density of Model A touring cars is at the LA Roadsters show in June. Lots of neat cars (most dating back at least 20-25 years) that are not seen much elsewhere.

Best to check Carnut (http://www.carnut.com/photo/list/_frd28m1.html) .... I found a few. They are rare and typically done up in the resto 70s theme. Boones posted one of the meanest phaeton's I have come across. It was featured in R&C a number of years back .... Some where on the Carnut site is a white phaeton running a torsion bar suspension front & back ... built by an ole circle tracker (Lee Osborne?) out of the east. Another source would be Dave Lindsay photos (http://public.fotki.com/wackydave) (HAMBer) but would require some heavy browsing through the shows collection to find a few nuggets. Great photos though!

I've seen a couple nice original rhd ones go for cheap lately. One with no engine brought $4500 on ebay last month and I saw one in some other clasifieds for $8000 that was a decent looking runner.

The only fenderless one i can think of is the one that had all the magazine article glued to it. I think it was a Mag car or something like that. I believe it was red

Shiny that sounds awesome! The roof is the least of my worries at the moment, but I don't want to go for the original style roof. Especially if it's full fendered. They just end up looking like you put some new wheels on an old car.
I saw one that had a 35 chev roof, chopped 4 inches. That looked good.
Theodore, it's a 1/1 scale. It's good to see your still trying to be funny. Keep it up, if you practice long enough you'll get good. Although I would have thought that 38 years is long enough http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif.
Great pictures everyone, thanks.
