Lake pipes question

Hey everybody,

I'm planning on putting a set of lake pipes on my merc, and figure if I'm going to put them on, they may as well be functional. What I was wondering is there anything I need to consider when installing them. Any issues with the existing exhaust(right now it's dual exhaust with glasspacks) I don't plan on using them as my only exhaust, or running them open all of the time, but would like to uncap them on certain occasions, like to annoy my neighbors.

run them as a second set of pipes. cap'em when you want. i think you should just bail your glass packs all together. fuck the neighbors. that how we do it.

i cut the bottom out of the pipes so i can still run the caps on them and put some of those shitty dumps with a choke cable on the dash. it looks cool and is not loud when im on a long ride.
