It's a 1974 Ducati 750 GT. It was a real wreck when I got it, and progress on it's rebuild (http://www.teamyikes.com/RoundcaseHome.html) has been disappointingly slow for various reasons, but I'm plugging away at it.
Here's a more recent photo. No huge mods - alloy rims, lower bars, are on it now, bigger carbs and high compression pistons will be added as I go. Engine is being reassembled, cases are put back together after a crank rebuild and I'm waiting for a tool to be made so I can shim the bevel shafts. Other than that, main hang up is lack of funds for my toys.
http://www.teamyikes.com/current.jpg
Once it's done I'd like to build a '30s style Midget racer, powered by a Moto Guzzi engine so the heads stick out of the hood a little on each side. Not sure what I'd do with the thing once it was done (it'd be pretty small to run on the street) but I think it could be SO cool...

I'm not sure what year exactly, it was stolen and re-assigned a new identity. I built a fresh 93" shovel and a kickstart only 4speed. molded a 50 mercury tailight to a old hinged fender that I bobbed the shit out of it. dual disk widey out front, and yes it's painted. flat black and bare metal.

I got a '75 shovelhead now. I'll post pics when I can shoot some. Here's my '75 moto guzzi cafe I just sold. I was about to put a boattail seat to complete the cafe style but sold it to buy the shovel.
dvanecek I couldn't have sold the Guzzi to get a Harley, sorry that would be a big NO. But I am retracing my footsteps a little and if all goes well I'll own this baby this weekend. Sold mine about 11 years ago...

I would have loved to keep the guzzi. The problem is I'm 6' 6" and 310 lbs. It was fun around town but a bit small fro long trips. I try my best to afford both but I couldn't pull it off. here's a pic of the wildest Guzzi I've seen. check out the reversed heads

I like the CB500T. I'm thinking of building a chopper/bobber with one of those motors. I have a spare out of my desert bike, and a spare set of wheels too. They look cool, and cost a fraction of a British twin price. Now time to find a frame.

None of them are modified.. I guess my motorcycle has a bigger sprocket to make it an interstate cruiser.. I rode it to the grand canyon from Denver, CO last year so that was a nice addition.
I know, nothing hotrodded or chopped up, but I'm a boring person.
