I've always been a car (and truck) guy. Up until recently, I focused on restoring older cars. I just purchased a 40 Ford pickup that has been very tastefully street-rodded. For the most past, I'm an old school type of guy. I know that it's all a matter of taste when it comes to street rods... But I must say I am amused at the discussions on the H.A.M.B. about what is kosher and what isn't when it comes to the use of modern or original components.
Getting parts for an old stock vehicle can be a challenge. But figuring out how to rig up the steering or brakes on what often is a one of a kind vehicle makes that look likes child's play. I'll be looking for lots of help as I go along and that's why I'm here.
