Hey Guys
G'Day from downunder, actualy we dont all say that but thought it would be a nice thing to do
I have worked with 3D cad for around 18 years starting with CadKey5 Dos and now with Solidworks2008. I have a passion for designing and if I can be of help to any one please let me know. My experience is in metals, plastics and most forms of tooling required to produce the parts. As a help most design projects would be free of charge, depending on the amount of work to do. One thing I have wanted to do is model a full V8 to spec drawings. If any one has any 2D Cad data avaliable I would attempt to create the 'real' thing transforming the 2D to 3D Data, inc drawings
Thank you for your time
Trevor

Gday mate!

We dont say that either, but it does sound good.:D

I use Solidedge. I would love to find a model of a big block Chevy engine. I have not even been able to find any dimensions to use to create one. I gave up months ago but now I am back on track with my project and need to replace the small block Chevy engine with the one I will be using in my build. I think I will just measure my engine and create something that is about the right size and stick it in the model and keep moving. I dont have the time to try to make it an exact copy.

Just for kicks, here are a couple screen shots of what I am doing. It changes all the time as I try new things, but here are some of the pics I have saved along the way.
