This is getting ridiculous.

I swear every time I make arrangements to meet my friend at his machine shop to work on my car - we're hit by another hurricane!!!

Can you Carolina guys take this one for us? We could use a weekend off for a change.

Damn!

I know what you mean, I pushed the '52 in the barn last Thursday and that's the last time I saw it.

There is one good thing, my buddies Boston Terrier had 6 pups during Frances, anybody need a dog? probably only have 4 or 5 hurricanes before they are ready.

Late breaking news: 11:00 news says Ivan early prediction is that he is headed straight for Tampa 8pm Monday. I knew we'd have to pay for having the Mons Venus all these years.

It's real old, I'm away at a drag race, and have to fly home early....again.
Send a boat out with a sign that says' Turn-left-here and send this shit to Mexico.
We still have'nt got the mess cleaned up from this last one yet.

One site I checked has it headed right for me, (i'm in Biloxi MS, about 90 miles east of New Orleans ) Now another has it going in about where Charley went. still way to early to tell, maybe it'll go away. I just built an addition on our house and havent had my insurance updated yet, which is scary.

Well, Ivan the terrible is a category 5 storm as of this morning and they showed it being right over Tampa / Orlando by Tuesday.

I guess theres no sense in cleaning up the debris from last weekend's hurricane since we're getting hit again in 5 days!

Whoopee! I love Florida!!!

We just got our power back after 4 days, and when it came back on it fried the power supply to my 'puter. A lot of people here aren't even taking the plywwood of the windows....

With Cat 5 storms you get flying alligators! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I think I'll stay up here. We get winds but we don't call them hurricanes. We just call them weekends.

I was in Orlando right after Charley hit for 3 weeks. I left Saturday morning to come home. Frances screwed everything up again, so I got the call to come back to Fl...this time for 6 months. I have to leave the Seattle area on Sunday, and am expected to be in Fl on Wed AM. Its going to be a hard drive. I work for the largest mobile home insurer in the states. I've got more claim to look at in one month than I usually see in a year!!!

Mmmmm, coming right at us here.

Anybody in Alabama or Georgia now of any nice motels?

The perfect business to run in Alabama or Georgia would be a Hotel Casino. Think about it. All those millions of Florida Mobile Home owners. You'd clean up with a built in gambling clientel like that...

Thank you sir, may I have another!

I feel for you guys http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Seriously, if anyone wants to come further north and hang out here, please feel free. I've got plenty of room for the family, including pets. If you feel you need a physcial and mental break, please take me up on my offier.

I'm hoping for the best for you all.

Our BrightHouse cable guys just got back from 2 solid weeks of 14-16 hour days getting everything hooked up in the greater Orlando area. They are planning on heading back there on Monday to help get things back on track after Ivan.
