Iam the proud owner of an replica of the "The Dark Secret", which is one of the coolest Hot Rods build in the early sixties on a Chrysler New Yorker 1957 frame. I have been searching the web for information on this car, but havent had the luck to find anything untill I was recommended this site, where I got all the history and could read that the original was build by Joe Wilhelm for Clif Inmann, who made the design, which havent "spoiled" the car, but created a timeless design which ntil this day still makes it the coolest car on earth.
I have had the dream of owning an American car from the fifties, since I only was a little boy, and when I got the chance I took it and fullfilled this dream in 2006 and bought this beauty from Petri in Finland and brought it to Denmark, where I listened to my favorite artist Stevie Ray Vaughn and cruise the streets of Denmark, when I can find the time for it.
So Thank you, to those Hot Rod lovers who have spend te time finding pictures an articles regarding my car, it has indeed increased the value of beeing the owner and member of H.A.M.B.
