Those are vintage Smith heads and if I remember correct, the engin once belonged to Bud Hand (spelling?) A L.A. area car builder from back in the day. Pogo

Steve is one of the coolest cats you'll ever meet. On top pf it all, he's got one of the coolest collections I've ever seen. Last time I was there, he was working on the Magee roadster. No big deal to Steve, just another day.

Pogo,

Any chance of getting him on the board? Most of us could learn a thing or 10 from him. Hope to see you guys soon. Your brother is dragging me to a swap meet this weekend. Damn old hot rod, surfer bastard is pushy. I keep tellin him I can't go, but thank god he doesn't know what NO means. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

You missed the 4 port Riley. Go back and get more pics!

No joke! Steve is the best! He is the one who built my Flatty that is indestuctable, and inspired me to go nuts on the A thing. I'm starting on my next one alredy. Thanks Steve!

Steeve keeps threatening to join, I'll keep at him. Steeve put the Riley in his four banger roadster after sandman got him off the line at the Redondo cruze night and he has that one at home. I built my engin at his shop and he showed me some tricks. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif Sandman will make you play, so you might as well give in! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif Tell Sandman to leave those A's alone and get hot on that digger. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif love pogo (my engin if you missed my post)

That engine is gorgeous and I bet it will really go too. Is it in the car yet?

Steve's a long time friend of mine. He built the motor in my Shelby replica. He can run at least two or three of those flatties on the stands.

How do you know Stevey? KK

This one here's got a lumpy cam in it. He fires this one up at all his Hot Rod parties. It sounds really healthy. KK

Steve's my illegitimate father or atleast that's what Im telling the courts. Bastard hasn't paid child support in 32 years. Im just here to collect my flatty and 4 port, it's the least he can do. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Mark has nothing but good things to say about Steve, as well as everyone else that has met the guy. Wish we we a little closer than 1300 miles from the guy so we could get some work from the guy.
