I've traded away some parts to a local yard for a mix/match rear t-bird seat. I know I want to get the wrap bucket pans, the seat bottom, the armrest/console and the shaped rear package tray - am I missing something? (other than good taste) Does anyone have some pics or better yet put a set of these in a custom? The intended victim is my '52 pontiac. Thanks in advance
Haven't done the swap so I don't know the answer to your parts needs but I do feel this seat looks really great in a '60's style custom but out of place in a '50's style Kustom. so if ya put the seat in ya want metalflake, Astro Supremes and skinny whites look rather than Lancers and WWWs...
Sorta like what's being talked on that other thread. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

BS,
Good one... Bishop takes Rook ... now are you over it? I just guessing with LA classes starting you have something better to do, maybe go clean your Kiln. Thanks for the smile.

I don't know if this will help, but here's what I've got. They were intened for my '50 Chevy 2dr but I'm seriously thinking they'd look good in my '49 Fleetline.

Esnacky6,
I traded some parts for a $100 credit at the wrecking yard, for the $100 credit I get my pick of 3-4 early 60's interiors to mix/match a good set out of the bunch. includes the package tray whatever trim I can find, the seat pans, console, brackets etc... So I guess the short version is $100 up here in MT.

i was wondering how they would fit and look like in my 46 ford. i just missed out on a full interior from a bird. a friend saw the seats, said they were great shape, no tears. owner was getting rid of the car, said i can take what i want for $50. seems somebody else wanted it to, and for a better price. they stripped the seats from the car while it was up on a rollback. sonsabitches. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif

esnacky,
i gave 175 for mine for buckets and rears with perfect not a spot on 'em black covers from ebay. the price on just the rears i have seem a whole set in nice conditon sell as cheap as 25 and as much as 100 for rears. i've seen lots of bucket rear sets sell for 100-250 range depending on covers. there is a place on the net that has stock covers fairly cheap and the factory had a lot of cool colors to choose from. keep a check on ebay. if your interested i'll alert you when a good set pops up. sucks i got a set with perfect black covers only to decide i'm going white interior like my original plan. oh well...ken....

luckystiff,
If you stumble across the repop covers can you send me a note. I won't need it for awhile ($$) but it would be handy to have.
