If it's gonna rain, then i guess i'll be there on sat.it would not be a swap meet if it didn't rain, kinda like the one last weekend in Monroe.you lookin for a narrow dropped axel? i have one in my barn that belongs to a friend of mine . it's a tube one, built by Russ Meeks years ago and it's for sale, but don't know the price, but if interested i'll find out.

Well, if you have a few years experience of going to the portland swap meet, you'll be wise to a rule. At least its my rule:
Usually theres patches of clear sky between the showers. And usually the people are out side when its clear, and run inside when it rains. Makes sense right?
I do the opposite. To avoid the crowds and competition Im out when its raining and in when its nice. Kinda weird, but I've found alot of stuff that way that I may not have seen with all the crowds in the isles.
Anyways, hope to see a few of you there!

how narrow?
and how complete?
I need spring, spindles, bones or pins, arms, rods, box, link, shocks, tires, (did I miss anything?) the whole setup.
I'm thinking maybe the newer 12 spokes with brakes?

Roach, if you found my place, the swap will be easy.
Western Cycle Salvage is right around the cloverleaf there, too. They might have something to take home as well.
I am going to try to make it Saturday.

60's Style: i knew you were going to ask those questions, so i got it out of the barn and measured everything, so here goes.
a] 40-1/2" kingpin to kingpin.
b]6" drop.
c]ford king pins fit it.
d] bare 2"od tube, with bat wings at 16" centers.
e]has no spring perches, but would look good with 1/4 eliptical springs.
e]it's never been used. price is $75 give or take a few.
if your interested, i'll bring it up on sat.let me know so we can trade cell no's or set a time & place to meet?
